Where Waiwhetu Stream crosses Waddington Dr

What's happening?

While we wait for the blackberry shoots to die off (which have just been sprayed) we'll be caring for the collection of seedlings that have already been planted in the area by local school groups.

This means: clearing grass and weeds from around them, marking them out with stakes, watering and placing weed mats (if we can get some in time)

Time:
- 10:00 am start (feel free to bring morning tea)
- 11:30 break for kai and cuppa - we'll get some sausages on the BBQ

Location:
The stream-side reserve. where Waiwhetu Stream crosses Waddington Dr (close to no. 86). Look out for signs and a group of people a bit further down the stream. You can also park on Hill St and wander down the stream and around the corner.

We've decided to call ourselves 'Waiwhetu Link Care Group' - so you'll see that on the signs.
